It's official, Rosie's a tad overweight! The vet said so!
Even at 28kgs (and significantly less than Sam's weight), she's been deemed a little too rounded for her size. So it's time for our fat little girl to go on a diet. We've been advised to cut her food by a third and leave it at that until she loses a few kilos.
Guess the piece of cheesecake I gave them this morning didn't help...

Here she is, enjoying her (then) new rope chew toy on her (then) new futon mattress. Check out those sharp little puppy teeth. They were lethal, I tell ya!
That's a cheese-flavoured rawhide chew. Was funny how she ended up with yellow lips and tongue after a while.
If you hadn't noticed by now, Rosie likes to chew! Anything goes... even the spiky plants and ferns we have in the yard. This was our neighbours' kids' ball kicked over our fence, we thought we'd let her play with it a little and then return it... Bad move! A couple of minutes was all it took for her to puncture it. Ooops, sorry kids, we'll buy you a new one if you like.

fat schmat.....the girl looks great, she' not fat, she's well-loved, she'd not fat, she's pleasingly plump, lol.
seriously, she doesnt look fat at all. :( no more cheesecake? you guys are no fun, lol
LOL! I said the cheesecake didn't help, didn't say anything about them not getting any more in future...
